Adam Castelli's Pick to Win

adam2.jpg

The moment you get eliminated, you get bombarded with questions. Suddenly you're an interviewers dream, all because Canada didn't like you much. Odd, yes, but such is the entertainment machine.

So Adam Castelli's been making the press rounds this week, spewing off the same answers over and over (because the questions are always the same. Why can't journalists do research?) and standing by Monday night's performance.

He admits it hasn't sunk in yet. Probably because every major newspaper is paying attention to him. That hardly feels like failure. And by the time it does sink in, he'll be on tour with the rest of the Top 10 (or something of that nature) and will once again forget that he lost.

The National Post featured an article on Adam. And they asked him who his pick for winner is. It surprised me:

As for his pick to win? Castelli pauses for a moment before deciding on Amberly because Zack likes her and “she has all the qualities an Idol possesses.”

Hmm. Somehow I don't think a girl's gonna make it. Sorry, Adam. And he should remember that this isn't Top Chef or Project Runway. Judges have very little power. So Zack's endorsement may not mean a thing.
