Amanda Overymyer @ The Whiskey

I told you Elvira Overmyer would end up singing in a bar after her stint on AI, and I was right! Granted, its not a biker bar in Indiana, but its still a bar...therefore my psychic prowess remains intact. Thank God. I was dreading having to give a refund to those two kids I gave palm readings to in the grocery store parking lot this morning for $20 each....hey, if you're old enough to ask for it, you're old enough to deal with the consequences!

Miss Elvira will be a part of The Whiskey A Go-Go's Women Rock show on May 24th @ 8pm (tickets on sale starting Monday via Ticketmaster, or, as always, you can buy 'em at the door on the night of the show). My experiences at The Whiskey, well, the ones I can remember anyway, involve a hefty amount of....fun....and I highly recommend grabbing tickets if you'll be in the area that night. I promise you'll have fun, and I'm sure the club's promoters wont let her go anywhere near an encore of "Back In The U.S.S.R", so your eardrums shall remain intact. Besides, combine the smoke and noise and alcohol and crowds of crazy Hollywood kids and you probably wont even hear her. Which may not be a bad thing......
