Idol's Top 16: Part 1

It's official: I heart Theo Tams. We've bonded over our mutual scarf obsession. And yes, I voted for him. Not because he was wearing a scarf. But it may have influenced my decision to vote a second time. And a third time....

Now, I still have an extremely soft spot for Martin. And I think he'll go far, as long as people vote for talent over personality. Not that he doesn't have a personality or anything; he just doesn't emit that cocky rock-star vibe that the judges apparently want in a competitor. (And is it just me, or is the man getting skinnier with each passing week?)

Back to Theo. Who played the guitar this time instead of piano. Because he's an artist. And yes, from this point on, I'm officially biased. And "Bubbly" was brilliant song selection.

"That's Theo right there, my goodness," said Sass. "You know what Theo? You're just an undeniable talent and there's no way anyone can argue with that and that was an unstoppable performance. You haven't made a mistake yet and that was no exception."
"That's what you call the 'Four T's' right? Theo Tams Top 10," said Farley.

Zack didn't disagree he belonged in the Top 10 but in terms of the performance he thought while his tone was bang on, he didn't think the performance was very "bubbly."

Jake said it's very smart when a male performer does a song by a female performer because it automatically takes away the comparison so it was a smart move for him. He also liked how Theo re-invented the song and thought he should be in the Top 10.

And I'm sorry to say, but I'm about 150% sure that Mark Day's going home on Wednesday. As for who will be joining him on the chopping block, it's hard to tell.
