The Stalking Continues....

It's a little-known fact, but occasionally bloggers are permitted to walk away from their computers. And this evening that's just what I did. I was sitting in a Starbucks (a second home for writers. It's part of the job description) waiting for a friend, when Kalan Porter walked in. He is officially my stalker. A stalker I kind of adore. We have one of those neither-looks-at-the-other relationships.

When I left the coffee shop a few minutes later, Zack Werner passed me on the sidewalk.

So while I missed tonight's Canadian Idol audition show, visions of Ben Mulroney still danced in my head. (Did you not LOVE his jab at Seacrest's height last night? And yes, I think I even saw his hair move slightly in the wind. The times they are a-changin'.)

It's too early to call favorites, but I have a weakness for folksy rockers with guitars. Be warned. Next week is the top 200. Finally, we're narrowing it down to the less ear-assaulting.

Note to the contestants: Leave Edwin McCain alone. "I'll Be" is gorgeous. But ONLY when sung by Edwin McCain. Or my future husband. Who will sound exactly like him.
