To The Victor Goes The Spoils

As been reported on E Online (and just about every other news outlet in the country), it looks like David Cook has won the heart of Idol alumn Kimberly Caldwell along with this year’s title.

Cook actually asked the smitten Caldwell out before his 12 million vote win over David Archuletta. May 22 must have been a lucky day for rocker Cook, who didn’t have to wait for voters’ approval to get a dinner date with Kim. She said yes immediately after he asked during her TV Guide coverage of the finale.

The couple has been spotted out and about, most recently at a Dodgers’ game where the latest winner watched his favorite blonde belt out the national anthem. Afterwards, she joined him in the dugout where they cuddled between innings.

Spokesmen say Cook is a Dodgers’ fan. Maybe, but it looks like he’s a bigger fan of their opening act.
