Top 8: Unplugged

earl.jpg

At this point, it's all about Earl and Theo. With a little Gavin Rossdale thrown in. And Amberly is certainly holding her own as the only remaining female in the competition. I agree with the judges: I would rather listen to her version of "The Way I Am" than the original. Even Sebastian managed to somewhat redeem himself from earlier weeks' disasters. He'll be safe.

Any thoughts on the bottom three, folks? I'm still wondering why Mark's still around (even though I secretly love the song he sang: Sugarland's "Stay"). And Drew, while he was one of my early favorites, may not have been memorable enough. I wouldn't cry if Mitch went home either. But feel free to disagree.

Theo will be fine. Because I said so.

Theo sang "Weak in the Knees" by Serena Ryder.

Zack said that was the performance of the night by Theo Tams.

Jake agreed it was the performance of the night.

"Theo are you ok? Just checking. You're great," said Sass.
"It was nice of you to get up and stand for us to give you our comments; we should be standing for you. Every single time you perform you understand why you're here, what you're doing. You haven't made a mistake yet," said Farley.

Read the entire recap here. And tune in to see who goes home and to hear Rossdale perform tonight at 8 on CTV.
